Cartier

After rowing ashore, Cartier met me of the St. Lawrence Iroquoians, i am defiantly friendlier than the tribes of  the south. We exchanged furs for knives and hatches and a friendly alliance was set up.

Gaspe Bay

Cartier

Cartier persuaded me to let my two sons, Domagaya and Taignoagny, sail away with him to france, promising to bring them back. He did end up bringing them back and my sons told me all about the french and their culture. I decided i didnt trust them and when cartier returned, i broke off relations with him. Later on his men got scurvy and my sons went and rescued them. Cartier invited me to a feast and once again persuaded me to come along with him back to france, was well treated in France, being looked after at the king's expense. Sadly all the other natives that were brought along died of European diseases. 

The French cross

 1534 when French explorer Jacques Cartier arrived in Gaspé Bay, and erected a cross. I did not appreciate it when they did that.
